Taipei Airport
To strengthen onboard safety, the Ministry of Transportation and Communications has imposed the follow regulations on liquid, pills or sprays onboard international flights leaving, transferring or passing the Republic of China:
 
1. Passengers may not carry over 100 mL of liquid, pills or sprays.
2. All liquid, pills sprays must be stored in sealed transparent Ziploc bags not exceeding one liter in space.
3. Previously mentioned zip-lock bags are restricted to one per passenger and subject to inspection when passing airport security.
4. Items that violate the previous regulations but are deemed necessary, such as baby milk, baby food, or medical treatment, may be allowed onboard after border officers grant approval.
5. Exit or transit passengers may carry onboard their purchases in the airport or in the airplane. However, they must be packaged with signed letters to prevent replacement and must be accompanied by receipts or other proofs of purchase.
6. To enhance the effectiveness of border securities, the aforementioned Ziploc bags or other gloves, hang-baggage or large electronic devices such as laptops must be scanned separately by the x-ray.
 
Palau Border Entry Notices
In accordance with the international effort to counter terrorism and money laundering, the Government of Palau stresses the regulations on passenger’s cash possession and asks that incoming visitors honestly declare their goods. Violators will be punished according to the local law authority. According the law of Palau, passengers may not possess over 10,000 USD in cash or any from of currency. When exiting Palau, travelers must declare such currency possession to the Palau border guards. Local legal enforcers will confiscate the cash of any violators.
 
According to the regulations on wildlife protection, it is forbidden to bring protected  animals.
 
Palau border entry inspections are very strict: (Alcohol) Each passenger can only bring one bottle. Each additional bottle will incur a charge of 20 USD.
 
Visa
Passengers possessing Taiwan passports may stay in Palau for a maximum of 30 days (The passport expiration date must be at least more than six month from the date of return flight.
 
Travelers wishing to stay for more than 30 days must complete Visa-extension procedures at the immigration ministry at least one week before the expiration. For 50 USD, one can stay for 30 more days, but any one-time stay may not exceed a total of 90 days.
 
PALAU ED CARD
Baggage Regulations
The maximum weight for free checked baggage is 15kg. For bags exceeding 15kg, there will be a surcharge of 10 USD for every kg over the limit. For carry-on baggage, passengers are allowed only two articles totaling no more than 7kg. The maximum size for carry-on bags is 24cm x 35cm x 55cm, and any violation of carry-on restrictions will force the passenger to either check the baggage or discard the item. If the checked baggage is poorly wrapped, fragile or dangerous, Palau Airways reserves the right to refuse carrying such item.
 
Tax and Duty
When exiting the borders, Palau airport will charge an airport exit tax of 20 USD and an environmental tax of 15 USD, totaling 35 USD. This tax will be included into the ticket price to facilitate airport proceedings.
